The scissors in the head

This unspeakable, completely incomprehensible hyping of the so-called e-mail affair of Mrs. Clinton is now also being adopted by the German media. On the one hand, the woman should be the best qualified candidate, on the other hand, the email affair is constantly being hacked. German commentators lift their fingers almost voluptuously only to then question the suitability of H. Clinton. A very ambitious woman with no feminine charisma as president, that is beyond the imagination of many commentators. If a woman is, then she should have achieved more than a man and be completely free of mistakes. Above all, the journalists disturb this woman's self-confidence. They want to rise above this woman and show generosity from above or hand out reprimands. Since journalists have internalized the stereotypes of the white middle and upper class, they are not aware of the manipulation of their readers. It takes a very firm feminist attitude to recognize the covert attacks against a female candidate for what they are. The English press has no reservations about this either (May - Leadsom). But feminism is also an attack on the hierarchical basic structure of our society. If the German birth rate rises once in a year (2015), the media will be overwhelmed with reports of success and trend prophecies. All possible reasons are brought out and the social situation of young families with children is mentioned, which is not that bad after all. But basically society, which is not child-friendly enough, is to blame for the lack of offspring. So everything can stay that way and society is responsible. The realization, however, that the social situation and the reputation of families and young mothers depend on their material availability and that it would improve dramatically if the financial contributions were doubled or tripled is pushed aside. Defending the status quo is what the leading media see as their main task. When the number of drug deaths in Germany was once lower in 2014 than in the previous year, the media immediately reported the success of the liberalized drug policy. Further liberalization and finally the release of cannabis, which is now topical, has been called for. In 2015, the receipt came with a significant increase in the number of drug deaths. Because liberal rule of law in this context means in its consequence the withdrawal of the state and leaving the precariat to its fate. This point of view is ignored, because trend reinforcement is more important. You feel good in the mainstream. The political class and the media complex play the ball to one another. But of course no trace of manipulation of public opinion.
