In low-wage areas, it is common practice to reply to workers who complain that they can leave because there are enough applicants available to take on the job. All you have to do is demand the legal minimum wage and you'll be threatened with dismissal.

There are enough workers who would clean the federal railway's toilets for five euros an hour. And the parcel truck has to be returned empty in the evening and the delivery person has to sign that he only worked for eight hours, even if it took ten or twelve hours. There are enough strong young men from Africa or Asia ready to take on the job immediately. Ms. C. Rackete also ensures this with her infiltration. She is praised for this in the press and is now receiving a highly paid job at the European Parliament.

The audience is taken for fools and the locks are referred to as sea rescue. After all, there is an urgent need for workers in the hotel industry. In the catering industry, the low wages can no longer be maintained unless fresh workers move in who are satisfied with an hourly wage of five euros. And the costs of retirement homes are only slightly subsidized by the government. If not many female workers from Eastern Europe, especially from Poland, were fobbed off with mini wages, the company would collapse with the only small subsidies. And the one million Ukrainian women who have fled are not making the competitive situation on the labor market any better for the women workers who are already employed.

And the government can withhold the XNUMX percent wage increase for the railway workers for XNUMX months, with the trick of threatening to outsource work it can put pressure on the unions and keep wage levels low. And the press of the employers, FAZ, SZ and Spiegel celebrates Ms. Rackete as a heroine and philanthropist, even the official churches join in this chorus. How far removed are these from people's real problems?
