The war propaganda does not stop
Every day, the major broadcasters broadcast pictures of tanks that are to be delivered to Ukraine.
The tanks then emerge from the water and keep rolling as if it were a video game. Politicians are quoted with pithy words of loyalty and solidarity. Arms lobbyist Strack-Zimmermann is particularly popular. The arms industry is excited. Defense industry prices are rising. The red-green-yellow government is doing a good job. From time to time a representative of the CDU reports and asserts that the CDU would act in the same way. As long as it's only the Ukrainian young men who lose their lives, all is right with the world.
The western oligarchs are kept in the background in the reporting and in the pronouncements of the political class; there is only talk of Western values that need to be defended. It must have been something like that in 1939. However, at that time not only German weapons but also German soldiers had to be used to defend Western values against the Bolshevik enemy. Does the media barrage serve a purpose other than preparing the public for this mission?
The progress of the economic crisis can only be slowed down a little by increased rearmament, but it cannot be stopped. When you hear politicians' incredibly flippant talk of defeating Russia, you think you're dealing with lunatics. Unfortunately, that's not the case, it's calculated coldly. People are supposed to endure the cold and maybe soon starvation as well, all for the "victory over Putin". The issue that the Russian leadership could reduce Germany to rubble is carefully avoided. One hopes that Russia, which needs strong economic partners for its own prosperity, will be reasonable. But if Germany cuts itself off from cheap Russian gas, it will soon be over with the strong economic power. The rise in oil and gas pulls all other prices up with it.
With the development of prosperity, there was the prospect that retirement could generally start at the age of sixty. This prospect has now been wiped out by the lockdown policy and preparations for war, and work is to be continued for up to seventy years instead.
After the Covid issue was initially pushed into the background and replaced by weapons and war propaganda, the media caste continues to stir up fear and retain control of the brains. Today's Süddeutsche and Der Spiegel don't have it as easy as Der Stürmer and Völkischer Beobachter. Large sections of the population obtain information from the new media and the state media are constantly losing credibility.
Those who are starving and freezing no longer believe that Western values are being defended in Ukraine. Therefore, no matter what the cost, a frantic search is being made for new sources of supply for oil and gas.

Top US journalist dies suddenly and unexpectedly
Gregory Yee, prominent news reporter for the Los Angeles Times, died unexpectedly in Hollywood on Wednesday. His family said the cause was complications from a breathing problem. He was 33 years old.
In April 2021, Yee tweeted that he was in pain after the boosters, had no energy and felt like a container had hit him.
Despite all that, he didn't mind urging people to get vaccinated in the same tweet.
