    As physicians and scientists, we have been dealing intensively and critically with the various aspects of the "corona pandemic" for almost two years. We have come to the firm conviction that the current political preventive and immunization strategies bring more undesirable and harmful side effects than benefits, are by no means without alternatives, urgently need a fundamental paradigm shift and the widest possible, scientifically based discussions.

    Humans are naturally equipped with a very effective defense against infections caused by bacteria or viruses. We therefore consider the previous strategy, which relies exclusively on avoiding contact, mass testing and large-scale immunization experiments, to be unsuitable, disproportionate and medically very dangerous.

    We advocate rethinking this policy in a broad social discourse, allowing and testing alternatives. What is not evidence-based cannot be without alternatives. Measures that spread fear and panic are contraindicated and increase the harm to individuals and the general population. When the facts are uncertain, social cohesion and rational, prudent and truthful communication are the basis for effective measures.

    Our proposed solutions are all based on scientific evidence and can contribute to a very short-term and cost-effective exit from the "corona crisis". In order to make the text easier to read, we present a short version and provide detailed arguments, data and justifications in the long version.
    1. Demand: Immediate cessation of COVID vaccinations and in particular the mandatory COVID vaccination

    The data situation requires the immediate stop of the use of these unnecessary and health-damaging genetic immunization experiments. The experimental so-called “vaccination”, especially of children, with the four COVID “vaccines” described, which have only been approved to a limited extent, cannot be justified by anything, as they are completely pointless and risky.

    2. Demand: End of all non-evidence-based, non-pharmaceutical measures (NPIs), such as lockdowns, school closures, compulsory masks in public spaces, isolation, quarantine, contact tracing, distance rules, as well as RT-PCR and antigen rapid tests for people without symptoms of illness and immediate opening of sports facilities, restaurants, churches and cultural institutions for everyone without access conditions

    Numerous scientific studies show: the non-pharmaceutical measures (NPIs) do not contribute to the prevention of deaths and serious illnesses; the "stringency index", i.e. the sum of all measures taken by a state over a certain period of time, is correlated neither with the Covid-19 cases nor with the deaths. Instead, an appeal to common sense and common sense to comply with proven hygiene rules, such as coughing and sneezing etiquette, should suffice for the sick to stay at home. A proactive public health service that makes it possible to care for sick people at home is likely to make a bigger difference than any vaccination campaign.

    Cultural, restaurant and sports facilities and churches are important social meeting places. They meet basic needs for sociability and social participation, which in turn are central elements in the complex fabric of human resilience and immunity. The closure of these facilities or the restriction of access to certain social groups according to a very dubious standard (2G, 3G), which cannot be objectively justified, must be stopped.

    3. Demand: Pandemic management must be controlled sensibly on the basis of science and evidence, including correct testing of really sick people and correct recording of the epidemic situation. Since this has not been done for two years, we call for the resignation of the previous consulting experts.

    From a medical point of view, testing for respiratory viruses only makes sense if there are therapeutic consequences, usually only in seriously ill hospitalized patients with specific (antiviral) therapy needs, in patients who are part of the monitoring system for respiratory tract infections, and in members of an epidemiological study cohort that does not yet exist. In the tests, diseases caused by other respiratory viruses should always be considered in the differential diagnosis.

    No RT-qPCR tests with Ct values ​​above 25 should be reported as positive. In addition, only RT-qPCR tests should be carried out for at least three genes and the diagnosis of COVID-19 should only be made in a medical context with anamnesis, symptoms and clinical findings.

    A study cohort that is representative of the population should always be constituted. This was intended to longitudinally record and monitor any SARS-CoV-2 epidemic of national scope, in which the incidence, prevalence, severity of the disease and immunity status (testing for antibodies and T-cell immunity) should be recorded.

    Since this has not happened after more than two years, the previous experts should be replaced by an interdisciplinary advisory body made up of independent experts.

    4. Requirement: Creation of easily applicable concepts for
    Prevention and early treatment of COVID-19 and also for inpatient and, if necessary, intensive care treatment of severe courses

    There is an effective prophylaxis against COVID-19 and other infectious diseases, such as a healthy lifestyle, lots of social contacts, and vitamin D3. Numerous plants and measures are known from complementary medicine, naturopathy and traditional medicine, which can be used successfully both in prevention and in early treatment. There is also effective conventional therapy for COVID-19, such as anti-inflammatory drugs, antihistamines, topical or systemic corticosteroids, hydroxychloroquine, ivermectin, monoclonal antibodies, and anticoagulants. Only well-tolerated, effective antiviral drugs should be used. In our enclosed letter of justification, we present proven treatment protocols.

    5. Demand: The dominance of a single logic, namely the virological logic, must be ended. Other aspects, such as economic, social, psychological, educational and holistic medical considerations must be included.

    The dominance of a single perspective when dealing with a complex problem is always insufficient. While considering a pandemic from a virological point of view is useful in individual cases, other aspects should not simply be ignored.

    We demand the involvement of physicians in patient-related disciplines (e.g. paediatricians, child psychologists, internists, pulmonary specialists) as well as physicians who have an overall medical view of disease processes and are indispensable, for example, in clarifying side effects of vaccinations and determining the cause of death (pathologists, forensic pathologists ).

    The ever-increasing influence of pharmaceutical companies has led to dependencies, including when choosing the "corona strategy", and to an enormous increase in costs in the medical sector, but without achieving an improvement in healthcare at the same time. It is time to take appropriate measures that contribute both to liberation from these dependencies and to the desirable improvement in public health and cost reduction in the medical sector.

    A functioning social structure also includes other types of economic, psychological, social, educational and medical concerns. The current political handling of the Corona crisis subordinates all these aspects to virological logic. We consider this to be unwise and politically fatal.

    6. Demand: reassurance of the population regarding adequate medical care for everyone

    The previous media presentation of the pandemic has built up a fear of a “killer virus” in the majority of people that should not be underestimated, and people have internalized this. We know from many years of interdisciplinary research on the intimate connection between the psyche and the immune system that fear, along with stress, is a main factor that contributes to the weakening of the immune system. The only natural antidote to this over-activation of the panic system on a societal level is the activation of the physiological antagonist, the affiliation system. This leads, for example through social proximity and security, to relaxation and to the counter-regulation of sympathetic autonomous arousal. Media scaremongering is not helpful in this situation. On the contrary, media makers should do their job not only by spreading catastrophe reports, but above all by looking at the aspects that give cause for hope. For example, it has long been known that a large percentage of the population, through cross-immunity to other coronaviruses, is likely to also have immunity to this virus. To our knowledge, this exculpatory message has never been taken up. In this sense, relieving and relaxing the population should play a more important role than stirring up fear and panic. The division in society can only be overcome through open and respectful discourse, not through media and political intimidation.

    Demand 7: The media should provide wide-ranging, comprehensive information in accordance with the journalistic code of ethics formulated in the Press Code, without creating fear and panic

    In addition to balanced reporting that refrains from defaming dissenting opinions and well-founded criticism, articles on topics such as a healthy lifestyle and strengthening the immune system could be helpful. Reporting aimed at fear and panic is not compatible with the ethical guidelines formulated in the “Press Code”.

    8. Demand: Provision of programs to treat the physical and psychological trauma caused by the measures, especially for children and young people

    The long lockdown measures and the obligation to wear masks, as well as the lack of the possibility of normal social relationships, have led to psychological stress and sometimes traumatization in many children and young people. Funds should therefore be made available to reach those affected therapeutically and preventively at a community level. A first step would be to remove unnecessary burdens from testing and the obligation to wear masks. Furthermore, teachers and leaders in youth work should be trained and educated through appropriate information material. A short-term increase in the range of therapeutic options for children and adolescents would be important. The implicit attributions of blame, which blame children for the illness of their relatives, must stop immediately. They were factually incorrect and psychologically dangerous from the start.

    9. Demand: Ending the nursing shortage through appropriate measures

    The analyzes of the supposed emergency in the intensive care sector show that this emergency is due to a political failure. Instead of sufficient pay, good working conditions and recognition for caregivers, attempts were made to compensate for Covid obedience through dubious incentive systems. This should be ended immediately and the money that is freed up should be reallocated from private providers to the fair payment of staff and a higher staff ratio, so that services can be better planned, work density reduced and bureaucracy eliminated.

    Nursing is the largest group of professionals the least recognized. Since the introduction of the DRG hospital financing, the dismantling has progressed further and further through ruthless, profit-oriented personnel policies. The nursing profession must be made more attractive in all areas. This can only succeed if there are experienced colleagues in management positions who maintain contact with the patient and know what makes sense in practice.

    10. Demand: Separation of powers, justice and freedom

    We demand the restoration of the separation of powers, because this was undermined in the corona crisis. The government had its will enacted into law by Parliament. The courts ruled in line with the government, since the judiciary and prosecutors are under the authority of the government, and the state pays the judges and writes the laws. So there was nothing that would have protected the people from the state. When a judge issued a judgment critical of the measures, the public prosecutor's office ordered house searches of the judge and of the scientists who had written reports at the court's invitation.

    We demand that the state should not have the possibility to dictate all sorts of things to people, e.g. E.g. wearing masks, keeping your distance from each other, not gathering, closing your shop, hiring only vaccinated people or getting vaccinated. The state may only prescribe what justice demands, e.g. B. not to steal and not to murder.

    We demand that freedom of expression be restored. All state-sponsored censorship measures such as B. State-funded "fact checkers" and measures against "fake news" must be discontinued. Discrimination or dismissal of government employees who are critical of the measures must stop.

    We demand the restoration of academic freedom. During the corona crisis, the state intervened in the process of scientific truth-finding and instrumentalized science. The state must not declare one scientific thesis to be the truth and ignore or discredit all scientists who support other theses.

    On behalf of all concerned fellow citizens of this country, we urge you to make full use of your political influence and to support the implementation of the proposals mentioned here!

    Only together can we achieve the long-awaited end to this so-called "Corona Pandemic" and all associated measures that are a heavy burden on people.
