First she had her quislings in the Berlin city government break up the demonstration. But 1,3 million demonstrators would not simply be turned away. The police threatened to impose fines, but they only laughed at her. The demonstrators called to the police: “Join us!” Finally, the organizers called for people to move from the Straße des 17. Juni to the lawn in front of the Reichstag/Bundestag. The police tried to prevent this, but they were outnumbered and could not stop the masses. Then something happened that should not have happened: Since “Reich citizens” were holding a rally in front of the Reichstag/Bundestag, thousands, even tens of thousands, marched to the concrete bunker of the Chancellery, formed a human chain around the Chancellery to the Spree and shouted: “Merkel must go, Angela, the people are here,” until this spontaneous demonstration also had to be broken up. Finally, there was a peaceful celebration on the Straße des 17. Juni with singing and dancing.
The Merkel government will no longer recover from this. The end of the Corona regime is in sight. Until then:
