What role does the SPD play in the refugee issue?

First comes the stupid saying that “we” couldn't take everyone, then Gabriel messes with Pegida (after patting her beforehand). And Stegner, Gabriels Seehofer, struggles to come to an opinion. He does not get through, because Gabriel wants to represent left and right positions at the same time. The division of roles between Merkel and Seehofer is a lot better. And with Gabriel the impression remains that his opportunism rubs off on the whole party. And so the party remains in the polls, also because it has nothing to offer. Only the right-wing fringes benefit from anger against the CDU, but not the SPD. What has become of this party of Kurt Schuhmacher and Willy Brandt, an appendage of the CDU?
