The roots of conservatism are reactionary

To be conservative means to keep the old order. Society must be divided into an upper and a lower, one layer gives the orders, another has to carry them out. That is seen as the natural order. It is considered an individual merit to occupy a prominent position. The associated privileges are taken for granted. . In our time, the concept of race is no longer used as a justification; Darwin is now being pushed forward with his “survival of the fittest”; and the conceptual world of genetics offers excellent pseudo-scientific justifications. It is now said that the storage of certain properties in the genes led to superior types of people: people with white skin have a head start over people with black skin and men are predestined for many tasks over women. With this thinking it is not far to the stove bonus.

According to this ideology, intelligence and social skills are not evenly distributed among homo erectus, but are concentrated among whites, among men in Western cultures. That justifies enforcement with fire and sword. Human rights can then only be granted within the framework of a nation or an ethnic group, and classic civil liberties are only granted to a limited extent to the bourgeois classes; as soon as they are viewed globally, they endanger the hierarchical, social divide. The tendency towards progressive Christian teaching, “before God all men are equal”, is then rather a hindrance.

Modern populists never think globally unless they seek world domination.
