The old Left Party has also tried to reach this level, but calling this effort left-wing was not credible. The Greens did this better. With their climate swearing, they received a lot of support from the established media, so the Left Party lost its function.
The Sahra Wagenknecht alliance now wants to take care of the middle class people who are left behind; You can believe the alliance, although they formulate it so cautiously, so tactically, that you have to have great concerns as to whether the effort is meant seriously. And pensioners and poorer sections of the population are apparently dutifully mentioned, but there is great dissatisfaction and indignation is not reflected in the alliance's statements and announcements.
