Is marriage fair for all?

Where is the special protection of the woman, the weaker part of the marriage? Domestic work and parenting are still undervalued in our society, and in work life women are being paid less with wages; Equality may be, but there can be no talk of gender equality. The legal protection by the marriage laws should mitigate this disadvantage.

If two equally strong, same-sex partners work together and marry, they have the constitutionally secure claim to do so without discrimination. But this must not lead to the fact that the special protection of the weaker, and this is usually the woman, disappears in heterosexual marriages, by pretending that their marriage is a union among equals; In any case, as long as the woman is economically disadvantaged and the child-rearing is treated as low-ranking, special social protection is required.

Freedom, equality and brotherhood are also valid for the union of man and woman and is the highest obligation of the state. A marriage for all without a special protection of the woman does not fulfill this obligation.
