Can immunity deniers be leftists?

Although eighty to ninety percent of Germans are immune to Covid-19 or live in peaceful coexistence with the corona virus, the media and government continue to speak of the danger that the virus would pose. Public figures who used to be described as left or oppositional, ie before the Corona crisis, are in part fanatical supporters of the government course. They are silent or even approve of the incitement of the political class against “conspiracy theorists, corona deniers”.

From the camp, which was previously described as liberal or enlightened, there are even calls for violence against test refusers as recently in the “Süddeutsche”. A Cologne musician has proven to be completely blinded, a Juso chairman offers the arch reactionary Scholz as a way out of the crisis of social democracy. Did these people ever deserve the label “left”? No, that was just a fashion they chased. Where was your voice when the Eastern European workers in the meat factories and harvesters were persecuted and discriminated against? Accuse racism in the US, but tolerate it here, should that be left?

Elderly people in need of care continue to be locked up, isolated and poorly cared for, and the carers receive mini wages. People also die of strokes or heart attacks because intensive care places in hospitals are not allowed to be occupied. The media also bring absurd numbers and statistics that they no longer believe in themselves. (Or did they ever believe it?) School children are forced to mask and families are harassed in unbearable ways. Public calls for denunciation are approved. Demonstrations are broken off with police violence, legal channels are blocked. Authorities threaten families with "taking out" children. And supposedly “leftists” are silent about the creeping fascization of public life. What does that have to do with the left?

If one or the other, such as S. Wagenknecht, is on the wrong track out of sheer fear, one can understand that the state propaganda is just overwhelming. In any case, an upright conservative (Prof. Homburg) is more sympathetic than an opportunistic “leftist”.

  1. The fact that leftists also support the current course of the government shows that there is a general social consensus in dealing with COVID-19.
So it doesn't seem as wrong as we do.

And the view or criticism of our government is too one-sided. Such criticism would then have to be directed at the governments of all countries on earth.
Are all the others doing everything wrong too?

    1. First of all, it should be noted that there was an instruction not only in Germany but from the EU that anyone who tested positive for Covid-19 and who died regardless of the cause of death (cancer, heart attack, traffic accident, etc.) as a corona death to count. In Germany, not all doctors participated in this fraud, so that only eight to nine thousand deaths could be counted, while in previous epidemics twenty to thirty thousand deaths were counted, slightly different every year. (130 in the U.S. compared to 000 in previous years.)
In Africa's young population, the death rate is 0,005 to 0,02 percent. South Africa immediately introduced prohibition on this good occasion.
All the governments of the world saw the lightning of the global economic crisis, in 2019 and long before that. Everyone feels powerless, that's actually how it is.
The Spaniards fell for the stupid testing facility, now the hotel industry is idle and the number of those who have to go to the food banks has exploded.
Before the First World War, all countries on one side were enthusiastic about their side, as were the countries on the other side. Now you can only hold your head.
Just as a virus spreads across the world unaffected by any measures, there is also the phenomenon that social and political developments that appear superficially irrational are taking hold of the whole world. And we try to make sense of it retrospectively by giving them an interpretation.

    2. no, there is no general social consensus.
It is estimated that twenty percent are critics of the official course and twenty percent are supporters. Forty percent are torn back and forth. Anyone who has experienced the bitterness of their parents who now have to equip their children with masks knows where the pendulum will swing. And only the wave of bankruptcies will silence fanatical immunity deniers. The middle of society comes to Berlin; who was there knows that.
Right and left can no longer be interpreted as superficially as before. When a Cologne singer cleans stumbling blocks and thinks he has done something against anti-Semitism, then that is nothing more than a PR campaign but no evidence of left-wing attitudes. On the contrary, if he approves of fascist measures at the same time, he is only one who has swum on the same wave. He can save himself that because he has done the fight against discrimination against minorities, and part of this fight is the rejection of anti-Semitism, a disservice.
