“Aid” for Greece

What a hypocrisy to speak of the Greeks and of the Greek economy, as if there was a Greek economy. The journalists know or they might know that prices for Greek agricultural products are made in Brussels. Brussels could completely strangle Greek agriculture, as they did with North African agriculture by bringing subsidized European products there. And the production conditions for industrial products determine the European corporations. Oligarchs or not. The political class has no influence on that. But it can keep the lower and middle classes quiet so that they do not demand the same level of wages and living as Western European countries. Then capital is withdrawn and parts of the middle class have to rummage around in recycle bins to find something edible and the medical care for the subclass collapses. This disciplined and makes a great impression on the working population in other European countries. The movements of capital are for the most part deprived of the influence of social groups. The function of the political class is to give rationality to the inevitable dysbalances. That works too: Schäuble says the Greeks lived beyond their means. What cynicism. But its function of disciplining the rest of the European population complies with this saying. As long as the populations keep still, austerity is pushed through.

And economies do not save, but accumulate capital. And as the Southern and Northern European countries are at a different stage of development, the fight is raging over the use of these amassed capital. There's a round of political journalists talking about the so-called help for Greece for an hour, using all the politicians' talk and this ramblings you should listen to.
