Corruption and colonialism: twin births of populism

A CSU minister allows agriculture to rain manure unrestrained over the agricultural land. He rejects legal rules that would apply to everyone. And the water is always more expensive to clean. The Minister's motto is: Give us your vote and we will not issue any regulations. You should rightly call it corruption. And the EU is also insulted because it raises a complaint against the FRG: The more corrupt, the brazen.

The other minister refuses to make regulations for clean motives in the auto industry. Again, the deal is: Voters votes against conservation of the industry. The bill, however, all have to pay.

And a reprocessing plant for nuclear fuel rods is to be built everywhere, but not in Bavaria.

And Hungarian and other doctors from Southern and Eastern Europe should come quietly, how else should we remain world champions in the installation of joint and vascular prostheses. What do we care that in these states, the health system is collapsing, catastrophic conditions prevail and the peoples seek their salvation in totalitarian regimes.

Colonialism in Europe, a legitimate child of neoliberalism.

In line with this, the CSU minister refuses reparations for the genocide against the Herero, at most, a deal with the government clique is sought.

The cornerstone of the neoliberal social order, which is now showing a populist face worldwide, has already been laid by Reagan and Thatcher; But Germany already had a bitter experience with populism behind it.
