Who are the true heirs of the National Socialists?

The war policy and the conquest of Europe and Russia,

This characterized Germany's National Socialists in contrast to the other imperial powers.

The British imperial ambitions had waned. Before the USA could emerge as a new power, the Germans attempted to rearm and build or conquer a thousand-year Reich.

And now the CDU wants to establish the strongest army in Europe and, following in the footsteps of the Nazis, declares Russia to be Germany's eternal enemy, while the Greens praise the qualities of German tanks (Hofreiter).

And Merz wants to station long-range missiles in Germany (Tomahawk and others) and rambles on about Russian drones over German airfields, eagerly supported by the Greens, who helped elect Merz as Chancellor and are now hoping for positions of power. (von Notz)

The Nazis prepared their war ambitions in a similar way back then.

The other characteristic of German National Socialism was its conception of race and eugenics:

A selection process was to take place, and under state control, people with specific traits were to be produced or "bred." People with "negative" traits were eliminated.

Now, some countries (California, Ukraine) are taking the lead by contractually enshrining and legally securing the prenatal selection of people with certain traits. Surplus individuals are eliminated during the embryonic stage, and abortions are performed in cases of visible "defects" such as a cleft lip. The Green Party is particularly vocal in its support for these "modern" forms of eugenics; they also advocate for gay couples to enjoy the freedom to call each other "Dad."

And the CDU wants to present itself as a modern party and promote these aspirations. A lobbyist from this vocal scene almost became a constitutional judge.

So who are the legitimate successors of the German National Socialists?

Who are the neo-Nazis of our time?

  1. Chancellor Merz: “We are currently witnessing this country (Russia) in a state of profound barbarity. This will not change in the foreseeable future, and we must accept that.” And because Putin will allegedly attack other countries after a victory over Ukraine: “We will have to defend ourselves again.” Whether consciously or unconsciously, Merz is thus repeating Hitler’s propaganda that the German war of annihilation against the Soviet Union was justified as a “preventive war” (preemptive defense). However, Russia, or rather the Soviet Union, has never attacked Germany. Merz cultivates a narrow-minded view of the enemy. This prevents him from drawing the appropriate lessons from Germany’s devastating history and shaping his policies accordingly to promote peace.
Eastland riders in a mood of departure

Merz's malicious rhetoric is a sign that the German bourgeoisie has never gotten over being defeated by the "barbarians" in the East – and that it still harbors revanchist thoughts.

Of course, the ruling political establishment is putting on a brave face, emphasizing that its hate-filled tirades are directed only against the "criminal" Russian government, not against the Russian people. This nonsensical declaration also has a sinister history. For example: On the day of the attack on the Soviet Union, June 22, 1941, Adolf Hitler ranted on Reich Radio: "Never has the German people harbored hostile feelings towards the peoples of Russia. It was not Germany that ever attempted to impose its National Socialist worldview on Russia, but rather the Jewish-Bolshevik rulers in Moscow who have relentlessly attempted to impose their rule on our and other European countries..."

  2. "The strict separation of police and intelligence services was enforced by the Allies after the Second World War to prevent a repeat of the Gestapo, which spied on, arrested, tortured, and murdered communists, social democrats, and other political opponents of the Nazis, as well as Jews and other minorities. This separation has since been enshrined as a constitutional principle."

The article argues that the abolition of this separation is directly linked to Germany's return to an imperialist war policy: hundreds of billions of euros in additional military spending, the reintroduction of conscription, and the construction of a "war-ready" society necessitate a police state. Dobrindt's reference to "hybrid threats" from sabotage, espionage, and cyberattacks is propaganda—the real goal of the growing surveillance apparatus is the increasing resistance to militarism, social cutbacks, and unemployment.
    No real opposition

There is no serious resistance among the parties represented in the Bundestag. The Greens (Konstantin von Notz) described "more robust powers" for the BND as "urgently necessary." While the Left Party (Clara Bünger) criticized the lifting of the separation requirement as "historically ignorant and irresponsible," the article points out that the Left Party strengthens the police and intelligence services wherever it assumes governmental responsibility—for example, in Thuringia under Bodo Ramelow, where the Office for the Protection of the Constitution was not dissolved despite campaign promises to the contrary.
