Eight months of black-red government
We thought there couldn't be a bigger catastrophe than the traffic light..
Who, apart from those who directly profited, wasn't waiting for this dream team to be replaced? This is the only way to explain how the ghosts of the past could rise again: Merz, Röttgen, Wadephul and company are trying to push their misguided domestic policies into foreign policy as well.
- Germany is to establish the strongest army in Europe; conscription is to be reintroduced.
- All financial reserves that Germany still has, unlike France and Great Britain, are to be used for armaments.
- Russia is being portrayed as the enemy (Wadephul).
- The industrial groups are to convert to tank manufacturing and artillery shell production.
- Pistorius rambles on about military readiness like in the worst days of the Cold War. Goebbels is said to have coined this phrase.
- Linnemann, like a compliant student, seconded the demand for "tightening the belt." And Frei, not wanting to be outdone, called for restrictions on healthcare.
There is no resistance: the Greens are demanding even stronger militarization, and the Left is just waiting for a redistribution of the attractive positions.
And the AfD hopes to enter government quietly, promising to dismantle wind turbines and normalize relations with Russia; but not a word about social cutbacks and militarization. Clearly, fierce debates are taking place about the right course of action. Every time an AfD official makes pronouncements similar to those of Röttgen or Wadephul, the mainstream press revels in it and cannot conceal its secret enthusiasm.
But Merz has one thing over all other Europeans: Germany had let its economic infrastructure deteriorate and was able to obtain billions (one trillion) from the financial markets. Now the center-right/center-left government can splurge on defense spending and build a stronger army than any other nation. Heavy industry is docile when Merz prattles on about Western values and freedom. Germany's billionaires (Stinnes, Quandt, Porsche, and Flick) have plenty of experience in landscaping and therefore enjoy a good relationship with the government.
However, the standard of living for the general public is steadily declining:
- Housing – only bigger. One million Syrians and one million Ukrainians are now crowding the housing market.
- Heating costs Prices continue to rise. The purchase of inexpensive Russian gas remains prohibited.
- Food prices – remain at a high level, restaurant visits remain expensive
- drive – remains expensive
- Taxes for small and medium-sized enterprises – no reduction
- Social security contributions – are constantly being increased, benefits are being restricted, health insurance funds are implementing further tariff increases
- Company bankruptcies – increase
- financial stability – continues to decline, the level of public debt is rising rapidly
- Unemployment– is constantly increasing, nobody knows what will happen next.
- Pensioner income – the standard of living is falling continuously
- Health and long-term care insurance – benefits will be reduced, contributions will increase
- energy security – is decreasing; the sanctions against Russia, which are very damaging to Germany, are being intensified.
- Reconciliation with the major powersThat's simply not true. Germany sits at the kids' table in peace negotiations, yet offers billions of euros to have a say.
- European Association Merz is playing games with Macron, who has been financially sidelined by the opposing parties and has no room to maneuver. And Starmer is dismantling the Labour Party without the Conservatives benefiting. In both countries, the opposition parties are waiting for Merz to fall.
The economic decline is accompanied by a cultural decay:
- Gender language – Women's wages still lag behind, but gender-inclusive language compensates for this.
- gender dysphoria While this psychosis has subsided in the USA and Great Britain, it is still being promoted by the state in Germany. The number of so-called gender reassignment surgeries in Germany increased by 400 percent (men) and 600 percent (women) last year.
- Freedom of speech Anyone who speaks too openly gets a visit from the state police at six in the morning. Many find the term "raid squad" more appropriate.
Lafontaine: Germany is experiencing a catastrophic decline in the quality of its politicians. "The EU will massively increase the budget for NGOs, thereby significantly fueling the culture war surrounding 'wokeness.' The budget plan allocates over €8,5 billion to making EU citizens 'more appreciative of diversity.' Billions more are also earmarked for refugees and migrants."
So-called "NGOs," or non-governmental organizations, are very often actually governmental organizations that have been made dependent on the state and also serve the state agenda. This applies, for example, to the censorship network or various areas of the culture war, such as transgenderism, immigration, and all possible variations of "diversity and inclusion." The new EU budget for the period 2028–2034 foresees a massive increase in spending on NGOs.
The plan essentially envisions progressive funding for activists who campaign on the streets and outside parliament, pushing the EU's agenda forward while portraying themselves as opposition. They are not demanding a different agenda, but simply more of the EU's existing one. This means more EU centralization, more societal "diversity," more climate propaganda, more vaccinations – to name just a few examples. The core of the proposal is the new AgoraEU program, which is to be enshrined in the 2028-2034 Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF). The massive 600 percent increase has received little media attention, presumably because the budget plan is overshadowed by the EU's war efforts.
In the new budget proposal, funding for migration and internal security increases to approximately 34 billion euros. Many progressive NGOs are active in the field of migration, and many billions will indirectly end up there.
The EU is demonstrating once again that it does not want to be an economic alliance between nation-states, but rather an ideological player whose political agenda takes precedence over nation-states. Civil society is being trained, controlled, and codified through a massive financial package.

"When people talk about 'gender-affirming measures,' they're essentially placing the desired gender on the map. Biological sex is seen as the flaw. The battle over terminology in this area is fierce. In Germany, for example, the guidelines commission explicitly rejects the use of the official term 'gender identity disorder.' They use 'gender incongruence' instead. And yes, that's a massive difference, not just a minor point. Gender identity disorder is an illness; the child is struggling with their assigned sex, they have a disorder. Incongruence means that the sex doesn't match the child's feelings, therefore the sex is wrong."
In Germany, there is too little public interest in the treatment of transgender children, and the frogs themselves will not want to drain their swamp on their own.

Minister Kennedy:
"Reports from Germany show that the government is disregarding patient autonomy and restricting people's ability to act in medical matters. That is why I sent a letter to the German Federal Minister of Health, Nina Warkin, on Friday."
In my letter I made it clear that Germany has the opportunity and the responsibility to correct this course, restore medical autonomy, end politically motivated prosecutions and defend the rights that characterize every democratic nation.”
"It is painful to see how, particularly in the West, the space for genuine freedom of expression is rapidly shrinking. At the same time, a new Orwellian language is developing which, in its striving to be ever more inclusive, ultimately excludes those who do not conform to the ideologies that fuel it."
Pope Leo XIV
"Robert F. Kennedy Jr. wrote a letter to the German Federal Minister of Health, Nina Warkin."
Here is a summary and translation of the main points of the video:
Criticism of criminal prosecution in Germany:
* Penalties for doctors and patients: Kennedy explains that he has learned that over a thousand German doctors and thousands of their patients are facing criminal prosecution [00:14]. The reason for this is the issuing of exemptions from the mask mandate or COVID-19 vaccination during the pandemic [00:21].
* Violation of medical freedom: He criticizes the fact that a government crosses a line when it punishes doctors for advising their patients [00:31]. This violates the sacred relationship between doctor and patient [00:49].
Danger to democracy
* Doctors as civil servants: Kennedy warns that in this system doctors are made into enforcers of state policy instead of putting the patient's well-being first [00:58]. Health is subordinated to the collective, which is controlled by unelected technocrats without medical training [01:08].
* Patient autonomy: He emphasizes that patients must have the freedom to make medical decisions without coercion or political pressure [01:26]. Reports from Germany show that this autonomy is restricted there [01:34].
Demands on the Federal Government
* Cessation of proceedings: Kennedy calls on the German government to change course, end the prosecutions and reinstate wrongfully revoked licenses [02:43].
* Upholding human rights: He reminds us that Germany is known for democratic values and human rights [02:58]. Policies that suppress dissent and criminalize medical decisions would undermine this heritage [03:05].

Prof. Homburg on Twitter on February 6, 2026:
"Rising life expectancy? No, according to Destatis we are at the same level as in 2019. But something else has changed: Manuel Hagel's CDU/CSU, together with the Red-Red-Green coalition, has passed huge debt packages. These require social cutbacks."
Background: One year after the grand coalition in the Bundesrat agreed to the circumvention of the debt brake, we see the consequences more clearly:
• Unproductive military spending is increasing immensely.
• Federal infrastructure spending focuses on making roads and bridges suitable for war.
• And what about the states? Lower Saxony is investing its share of the debt package in higher dikes, which are allegedly needed because of climate change and rising sea levels.
Along with the government's adherence to the course of deindustrialization (degrowth), cuts in pensions, health, care, unemployment, etc. are unavoidable and are already being discussed.
It seems dishonest to attribute these consequences to an increasing life expectancy.
