Is the traffic light catastrophe over with the CDU?

Apparently, the CDU likes people as chancellor who talk big, talk big, and conceal the fact that they are opening up sources of profit for some lobby groups.

  • Now it's the turn of heavy industry, which benefits enormously from the rearmament. Rheinmetall shareholders are thrilled. The share price is skyrocketing.
  • The chemical industry, however, complains that the arms boom is passing it by. Bayer is struggling with the Roundup scandal. VW can only maintain its profitability if the board converts its factories to modernization. This helped the family clan overcome difficult times many years ago. Television now often shows how maneuverable the Leopard tanks supposedly are, as if they were toys. The gruesome reality revealed in Ukraine is being ignored.
  • The Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ) calls for the air force to be enabled to operate "deep in the Russian hinterland." One might think the journalist who made this call is mentally ill, but that would be trivializing the problem, because such people currently dominate the public opinion climate.
  • And things aren't looking any better in the parliamentary party milieu. Before the federal election, it was thought that the level of Green foreign policy couldn't be undercut, but the alcoholic in the Foreign Office still manages to do that.
  • People thought we were living in a new era and that blessing weapons would be a thing of the past, but at the Protestant Church Congress, warmongers from the CDU are even allowed to appear openly.

The party, the Left, accepted bribes in the chancellor election and is therefore being promoted by television and the press. Although it presents itself as an opposition party, it can no longer credibly defend its status as an opposition party. A few lucrative positions will certainly help it continue to participate in the theater.

One would just like to know whether the sums paid in important votes are in the five or six-figure range. In Thuringia, the CDU, in a clever calculation, handed over the finance ministry to the former Left Party, allowing the payments to be channeled through NGOs and foundations, as was the case with the SPD. In Brandenburg, this hasn't worked out yet, and that's why there's unrest there.

The AfD, through its chairwoman, initially announced a spending target of 5% of GDP for armaments, but quickly had to back down miserably, probably due to internal resistance and because Lafontaine publicly calculated that this target would require over 200 billion euros annually, thus accounting for almost half of the federal budget. One can only hope that this will remain the case.

The political class invokes the Enlightenment's canon of values in Sunday speeches, while at the same time, atavistic behaviors such as the CO2 campaign or virus fear are activated in order to pursue partial interests undisturbed. And the massacres in Palestine are accepted with a shrug at best.

  1. Is Merz moving towards a third world war?

    Professor Jeffrey Sachs:
"They're doing it. I don't think they're doing it intentionally, but they're absolute warmongers. They're so controlled by their intelligence services, probably linked to the CIA, which orchestrates MI6, the BND, and other security services. But the rhetoric and behavior of these politicians is absolutely reckless. Merz comes into office as Chancellor of Germany—you would not only think, you would hope, you would expect, in a world that has a certain interest in self-preservation, that the new Chancellor would at least have a phone call with President Putin to discuss the situation, to make an assessment, to try to understand. But no, from the first moment Merz came into office, it was about expanding the military, sending Taurus missiles, striking deep into Russia, without the slightest attempt at diplomacy. Starmer is behaving the same way. In other words, there is no attempt on the part of these two, whom I essentially regard as puppets of their security apparatuses and especially their intelligence services, to wage war. to expand. The lack of any evidence that they want to find a path to peace tells us everything we need to know. They are warmongers from morning to night."

  2. THE WARMONGERS' SCREAMING IS BECOMING MORE AND MORE DISGUSTING

    Dear Community,

In this BILD article from today
    https://www.bild.de/politik/inland/plan-fuer-mehr-soldaten-csu-wehrpflicht-noch-in-diesem-jahr-67c6aa77f0c49c5db213ea46?t_ref=https%3A%2F%2Fm.bild.de%2Fpolitik%2Finland%2Fplan-fuer-mehr-soldaten-csu-wehrpflicht-noch-in-diesem-jahr-67c6aa77f0c49c5db213ea46
    Two quotes particularly annoy me:

    1. Florian Hahn (CSU), defense policy spokesman of the Union:

“According to Hahn, what is needed now is a credible deterrent in the form of citizens in uniform who are willing and liable for military service.”

Who or what does Mr. Hahn want to scare off with inexperienced recruits?

    2. Patrick Sensburg, the head of the Reservist Association:

"We need to call up at least 20.000 conscripts by the end of the year. We can do this with the existing infrastructure and training capacities. Step by step, we must then extend conscription to the entire age group. It must then apply to women as well as men."

Until now, the consensus was to exempt women from military service because they provide another service to society: carrying and giving birth to children, with all the physical and other personal limitations that this entails. And this is no longer to be taken into consideration in the future?

    3. And what bothers me most:

If conscription is to be reintroduced, it will affect a generation whose childhood and youth were robbed by politicians' inhumane coronavirus measures in schools. This generation, of all people, should pay the price for German politicians doing absolutely nothing to stabilize global peace?

Actually, my generation and the generation before it should apologize with a deep kowtow to the young people of today - for the pile of rubble we are leaving behind for them.

    Stunned greetings
    You and yours
