Don't play with the dirty kids
The AfD, founded by economics professors, has become serious competition to the parties that have previously formed a government.
During the negotiations after the elections, care was always taken to ensure that those involved were given positions corresponding to the number of votes they received. Administrative posts, judgeships and ministerial seats were filled according to party proportions. A competitor who now seeks participation reduces the number of lucrative positions available to be distributed.
Only the upper middle class and upper class benefited from the economic upheaval and the relocation of industrial jobs to neighboring Eastern European countries, as well as from the single currency and expansion of the euro.
This has created potential voters for new parties, while the potential for the upper classes is dwindling. Highly paid employees of public broadcasting (in a social sandwich position) now fear for their positions. Every day, television reports show people demonstrating against fascism, which they believe is emanating from the AfD.
This circumvents the desire of the vast majority of the population to stop immigration. These wealthy classes and their sons and daughters can still afford the higher cost of living and do not recognize the economic decline. They still feel guaranteed the secure salaries they receive from the state, the state churches or the public broadcaster. They are not exposed to competition on the housing market. They do not have to ask the job center for placement or apply for social assistance. The traffic light parties or the CDU appear to them as a guarantee that they will not be suddenly laid off after the election, as in the USA, and lose their secure status.
Proletarians who have had to endure lifelong changes of ownership, such as from Krupp to Thyssen, and forced early retirement, are not among the demonstrators. But the AfD has smart people at its head who have a sociological understanding and will be careful not to ignore the wishes and ideas of their clientele.
It was quickly made clear to Ms Weidel that she would have to drop the five percent target for rearmament, and the realization that further submission to US hegemony is out of the question, which is completely lacking in the CDU, is also present in the AfD.

Vaccinated women are 66% less likely to give birth than unvaccinated women. This is shown by current figures from the Czech Republic. The researchers see a causal connection between the decline in births and Covid vaccination.

"The Berlin Appeal is an important compromise to bring together peace forces. At the same time, we note that it does not address crucial questions such as an unconditional ceasefire, the lifting of destructive sanctions and an end to arms deliveries. Also missing from the current discussion is the aspect that the federal government, all state governments and the local level are preparing the population for a war against Russia. Decisions are being made on a daily basis and the year 2029 is repeatedly mentioned as the possible start of the war.
The peace movement is currently faced with the responsibility to take up the fight for the following demands that we represent as a collective movement:
Immediate unconditional ceasefire and negotiations to immediately end the war in Ukraine and Palestine!
Stop arms deliveries to Israel, Ukraine and other war and crisis areas!
Stop preparing for war!
Disarmament! No stationing of US medium-range missiles in Germany!
Withdrawal of US nuclear weapons from Germany according to the Bundestag resolution of 2010!
Terminate the US troop stationing agreement!
Away with the counterproductive economic sanctions!
Instead of investing billions of euros in armaments, we need investments in education, healthcare, environmental protection and infrastructure, for the reconstruction of the welfare state! To achieve this, the debt brake must be abolished!
The question of peace is of fundamental importance. Workers' rights, all social achievements and democracy are incompatible with war.
There will be a crucial federal election on February 23, 2025. The CDU and the Greens with Merz and Habeck are the worst warmongers. They stand for more and more weapons and money for the military for Ukraine and thus for escalation up to a major war across Europe. The SPD with Scholz is no better, just a little more cautious.
All of these parties, including the AfD, support the genocide in Gaza. Anyone who is against it is defamed and subjected to repression.
All of these parties want the stationing of new US medium-range weapons in Germany. These can hit command centers in Russia with almost no warning. They are first-strike weapons, offensive weapons. They make Germany a target in a coming world war, which would be a nuclear war.
The Left Party is only half-heartedly committed to peace, as its leader has spoken out in favor of Ukraine's victory and the hijacking of ships carrying Russian oil. That would be an act of war. At the same time, the Left Party is not calling for the lifting of sanctions or an unconditional ceasefire.
We demand peace negotiations and disarmament instead of “war readiness”!
The planned massive rearmament of the Bundeswehr and NATO is not to defend against an allegedly impending attack, as the government and CDU would have us believe, but to prepare for war. NATO is already far superior to Russia militarily and economically, and spends ten times as much on armaments.
We do not need to become “war-ready”, but rather end and prevent wars with peace agreements and disarmament!
The broad sections of the population - workers and the poor - are supposed to pay for all of this at the expense of wages, pensions and social benefits and through staff cuts. The rich, the corporations and the arms industry, on the other hand, are supposed to receive hundreds of billions of euros of our tax money. Merz, Lindner and Co. want it to be even more socially brutal, the SPD and the Greens would rather pay more through debt, which ultimately has to be borne by the population."
