Heidelberg doctor's declaration
In our opinion, the principles of responsible medicine and good medical practice were broken in the Corona crisis 2020-2022, although they are binding in the Nuremberg Code and in general international law.
In particular, in our opinion:
- scientific standards are ignored in order to enforce measures with state coercion without objective examination of the necessity and usefulness, which are limited in their protective effect, but harm an above-average number of people physically, psychologically and economically through their negative effects.
- failing to respect established regulatory standards to deliver novel and potentially dangerous drugs, especially mRNA Covid vaccines, to billions of people without adequate safety testing on the basis of emergency use approval (US) or conditional approval (Europe), often by pressuring them to do so were set and without informing them, as required, about the non-regular approval.
- omit and even actively suppress the prescribed measures for the professional recording of their side effects and their actual extent. There are now many millions of Covid-vaccinated people worldwide who are suffering severe damage from this medical system failure; most of these injured persons were not at risk of a relevant corona infection due to their age.
- People without proof of Covid vaccination are disadvantaged in medical treatment or even excluded from it. Hospital officials have not allowed people, particularly those who are unvaccinated, to see their dying loved ones, and some have even considered denying patients intensive care based on their vaccination status.
- Doctors, scientists, journalists and patients who rebel against these serious medical abuses are marginalized and sometimes threatened with state persecution. Many lost their jobs. As a result, the confidence in a free medicine committed only to the patient was damaged in a profound way.
We, the undersigned doctors, psychotherapists, dentists, distance ourselves from this breach of good medical practice, proven scientific standards and civilized social interaction.
We declare instead:
- that we treat every patient with the same respect, regardless of their skin color, religion and vaccination status, or other personal characteristics and life choices.
- that the final decision about treatment always rests with the patient. We treat patients with respect even if we personally believe that they have opted for inferior treatment or not for treatment.
- that we reject any governmental, religious, party-political or other non-specialist interference to enforce financial or ideological foreign interests in the treatment of patients.
- that every human being has the right to make free decisions about his or her body and that if they exercise this right, they must not be threatened for doing so.
- that no doctor may be threatened if he follows his conscience in treating and advising patients and in his professional commitments.
- that we are committed to an open, professional dispute about the best solutions in medicine, and that we reject the suppression of opinion, a one-sided, dogmatic science, the encroaching enforcement of financial or ideological foreign interests and any form of discrimination.
The dignity of every single person is and remains the top priority of our medical practice, especially in times of crisis.
